Outpatient Programs
We offer two levels of outpatient substance abuse treatment
at Responsibility House:
Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program is for men and women who need some flexibile structure in their recovery program.
We hold intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Our meetings are held in the evening to give working people an opportunity to participate. In order to meet the definition of "Intensive" outpatient treatment, clients must attend at least 9 hours of programming per week.
The initial phase of treatment lasts approximately 6 weeks. Upon completion of the initial phase of treatment, clients have the option of continuing treatment at the Outpatient level of care.
Outpatient Program
The Outpatient Program provides a less intensive option for outpatient treatment at Responsibility House. This program also accepts adult men and women.
Our Outpatient substance abuse treatment sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6 PM to 8 PM and Thursdays from 6 PM to 7 PM. We hope to accomodate working people with our schedule.
The duration of treatment in the Outpatient Program depends on the client's progress but can last up to 4 months.
The cost of treatment in our outpatient programs may be covered by
SAMHSA's Access to Recovery (ATR) Program.
Both of our Outpatient programs use:

Our counselors guide clients through all 12 Steps of recovery, providing a structured setting for those who need the level of care that we offer.
This comprehensive program design equips clients with the tools of recovery so that they may learn to live a recovery lifestyle.
Recovery Dynamics is goal-oriented, guiding clients toward understanding their addiction, how to overcome it, and how to take practical steps to maintain recovery.
